While out in the wild we use the “Leave No Trace” or LNT principal. We always haul out what we take in. When we fish we use circle hooks to ease the release and we always bring extra bags to clean up what has washed up on shore. There are very few places on the planet as pristine & untouched as The Ten Thousand Islands, so as guests we must keep this in mind.
The term guest is something we should all remind ourselves that we are, everywhere, “guests” of our planet. So lets not use up our planet, but enrich her with our energy and give back a little something for our children and future generations to enjoy.
